This policy explains what personal data Mui Ne Sand Dunes, Mui Ne Ward, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam, collects through muinesanddunes.com and our WhatsApp and email channels, why we collect it, who we share it with and how long we keep it. We are the controller of this data.
1. What we collect
When you book or ask about a tour: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, tour date, pickup hotel and pickup area, preferred pickup time, group size and anything you tell us in the notes (for example children’s ages, food allergies or mobility needs). When you pay online, the payment provider collects your card or PayPal details; we never see or store full card numbers.
2. Why we use it
To confirm and run your tour, to send your booking confirmation, pickup time and guide details, to answer your questions, to take payment (a full payment or a 30% deposit) and to keep the records the law requires. We do not send marketing messages and we do not sell your data.
3. Who we share it with
Only what each party needs to run your day: our licensed partner operator, your guide and your driver receive your name, group size, hotel, pickup time and any special needs. If you chose to pay the balance in cash on the day, your guide is told the amount still due. Card and PayPal payments are processed by the payment providers. Booking emails are sent through Google (Gmail), and messages you send on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (Meta). The site is hosted by our web hosting provider and loads its fonts from Google Fonts.
4. How long we keep it
Booking and payment records: 10 years, as required for accounting and tax purposes. WhatsApp and email conversations about a booking or enquiry: 24 months after your tour or last message, then deleted. The site does not use analytics or advertising tracking.
5. Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Security
Access to booking data is limited to the people who run your tour. Payments go through the providers’ secure systems, and the site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection throughout.
